OXFORD RESIDENTS AND THEIR ROLES IN THE AMERICAN
REVOLUTION
Although there are no records of Revolutionary War actions
taking place
within the confines of the town of Oxford, a number of
residents
participated in the war, and Oxford young men were subject
to the
efforts of the British to enlist men from the Colonies to
serve in her
armies.
