THE OXFORD HOUSE OR HOTEL
The Oxford House on Route 67 has long been a landmark in Oxford. According to Judge N.J. Wilcoxson, the building was built in 1795 by Daniel and Job Candee.
The hotel was at one time a post office, according to Wilcoxson.
